Hi all,

       I signed up here just to try and get this damn thing sorted, basically, my MSN is crap.

If I have the main Windows messenger window open, and if I select anything from anywhere, say Firefox in the Quicklaunch bar, or a new conversation window, it opens in the task bar, but the main Messenger screen stays on top so I have to minimize all the time.

Sounds stupid but I've put up with it for months now and it's starting to bug me. I've searched the net to no avail, somebody please help

Sounds like you have it set "always on top"

Menu > Tools > Always On Top  (make sure it's unticked)

I'm usually good with computers, but I just couldnt find the setting anywhere, caught me out as its not in

Tools > Options
