Not really, but you can change the skin back to default or delete the skin before you exit Messenger. Before you exit, go to the Plus! preferences . General > Skins, and check "Standard Messenger Look", press OK, do not restart Messenger when asked, and exit. Next time it starts it will look like normal.
maybe sometime in the future this could be done (if there is not a wlm limitation over it and patch would implement it)... but for now the skinning engine doesn't like to do that ...
