My Windows Live Messenger suddenly won't start up yesterday afternoon.
At first, a box appears with a text : "An error occurred on your last attempt to run windows live messenger, all the scripts have been stopped, please go to preferences to start them again."

I tried to remove messenger plus via add/remove programs from control panel, and my Windows Live Messenger shows up.
But, after I install messenger plus again, it won't start up again.
Can someone help me with this problem?

There is msnmsgr.exe in windows task manager, but the windows live messenger windows won't show up.
There are also this kind of problems in other forum, but it is because of the router problem, but I don't use any router to connect to internet.

I cannot use msn plus great features anymore...

Try repairing Windows Live Messenger as well. (Add/Remove Programs>Windows Live Messenger>Click here for support info>Repair)

Then install Messenger Plus!, if it still doesn't work, do steps

• Open Windows' Control Panel (Start > Control Panel).
  
• Select "Add/Remove Programs" (Windows XP) or "Programs and Features" (Windows Vista).
  
• In the list of programs, double click on "Messenger Plus! Live".
  
• Choose "Repair Messenger", leave the first 2 options checked and click Next.
  
• Once the reparation is complete, restart Messenger. Your software will now be running with no scripts or skins running.

If your problem still persists I can't help anymore
