three weeks ago I decided to start recording my conversations in messenger live... I activated the thing and I protected the files with a password...

the problem is that I can't remember the password I used to encrypt and now I can't access the files

is there a way to decrypt the files? or to reset the password?

If you could find out the password, what would be the point in encrypting the chat logs in the first place..

Sure, there are programs that could probably try and brute force it. But, it would probably take many months or even years on a standard PC to find the correct password.
