I'm not sure if any of you have used Emesene but it shows the display picture of the contact you are chatting to in the taskbar for each chat window.

It's quite a good idea, I think, and it would be good to see in either the official client or a future version of MSG Plus!

Could probably be done with a script, if no problems arise with tabbed chats... using the same technics as the stuff showing the buddy status (like Buddy-Away) as taskbar chatwnd icon.

yea only thing that would suck is it would override the msn stat icon not like can get them 2 beside one an another would be cool tho if it could.. but ya think this is a nice sug and if it gets done than be better

if you use imaging API you could probably overlay the busy or away icon (not the buddy, just the circle bit) over the avatar.

The only problem I see is that avatars are gonna be really small in there and theres not much point as it has the name of the person right next to it and many people could have the same avatar for example

never heard of that, will have to check that out..

I just installed digsby (another new multi IM client), and it does have this feature too... Additionally, it changes the window icon to a Typing icon when the contact is typing. Look here:   The window icon changes as soon as a different chat tab (yes, it supports tabbed chats) is selected. Imho the window icon changing would be a cool function (user-switchable on/off) for Messenger Plus!.

sorry for bringing this back, just wonder if there is any chance of this maybe being done in script if so would someone do it?
