this script is not working , i installed it and tried so many times to get it work but its still not working so please check it out .

I didn't think there were ANY scripts that did this with RealPlayer for them to not work

I can't get this to work either.

When I enable the script i get this from the Debugger :-

Script is starting
Script is now loaded and ready
Function called: OnEvent_Initialize
Function called: OnEvent_Timer
Error: Automation server can't create object.
       Line: 18. Code: -2146827859.
Function OnEvent_Timer returned an error. Code: -2147352567

Line 18 is this :-

    MyActiveXObject = new ActiveXObject("RealMSNDll.RealMSNClass");

I really don't know how to fix this so please help.

I'll check it out tomorrow and contact the creator. Which version of realplayer are you guys using?

Sorry I have not replied to this thread earlier - a few people have emailed me about it and I didnt think to check the forums for any other people having problems.

The most likely problem is that the dll is not registered. Messenger Plus should do this automaticaly when you install the script however you can do it manualy:

1. Close messenger completly.
2. Click Start, then Run
3. In the box, copy and paste this:
regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Messenger Plus! Live\Scripts\RealPlayer - What Im Listening To\RealMSNDll.dll"

(Obviously change the path if you installed it somewhere else)

4. Press enter or OK
4. A message box should pop up saying something like "dll registered succesfuly"
5. Restart Messenger and enable the script.
6. Wait a few seconds if nothing happens instantly.

Make sure you have "Show what Im listening to" selected under the personal message in the main MSN window.

btw I have the latest version of RealPlayer 10.5

it turns out there is a mistake in the help file so the dll doesnt get resistered.
I will fix this on thursday - im not going to be at home for the next 2 days.
