sometimes when I use msn, it starts lagging like hell, as if I would play crisis on highest settings, and I dont have a clue why this happens

has somebody else already had this problem?

are you running and scripts or skins?

well i use a custom backgroundpic, but no new skin

do you have any add-ons other than messenger plus?

it might be worth trying to do a clean install of messenger and seeing if this fixes the problem

hum, any addons
all i use for msn is:
msn9 itself
Messenger Plus
mess patch
and journal viewer for handwriting

but the problem didnt happen the last hours, maybe ive found a solution without knowing it

another question: any chance to remove the banner and advertisement window at the bottom of the contact-list?

the problem appeared again, I really have no clue what the problem is.. I use thigns like every other msn user

try downgrading to windows live messenger 8.5 as it is the latest stable build of messenger.

and as for removing the adverts, skins such as SexySkin will allow you to remove the adverts
