Hey, it came to my attention that some good skins are not rated as they should and others that replace just two or three pictures are very well rated. So I suggest that they are not only rated once for all that they offer but for every feature they have. Into more depth, I think people should rate the following in a skin:
+Options and Options Panel
+Design
+Quality( If it has bugs or if it works very well)

Also, in the category of Computer & OS, they should rate how well they think the copy is. If for example the Vista skins look like Vista.

That is all.   

I think thats a great idea, like the thing on ebay, where you leave feedback and you have about 4 options.
And also, from this, you could sort by Design, or options panel or something

hm, will the average user really want to vote three times per skin?
and votes wont really tell you much.

you would be better off having reviews where the reviewer can rate different aspects of the skin + write a paragraph or so saying how good/bad/what they need to work on in it

he would put the stars on every category and then he will click the Rate button so it will be like voting once

I like the idea of having review capabilities like that of ones on cNet and Betanews I commonly read them for a general feedback and public opinions of a piece of software before downloading it, same could go for skins!

I agree with dt. It would be nicer if people could actually post text. 3 different ratings still won't tell you why people do or don't like your skin.

Besides that, a lot of people visiting the site have no idea at all how a skin is build, or they rate before they downloaded the skin and didn't see the options yet. The rating should be seen as a general impression.

At least, we could have a place where people could put suggestions. They could say "I want this skin to be updated and have these features" and so on.
