It appears to be because of the new interface styles of Plus!. I will see what I can do about fixing this. If you notice the top of the window is not at the top of the screen this is what is causing it.

Hi. This is the most useful script I have found for live plus.

However, I'm having same problem as previous "user" (roflmao456) has mentioned.

Someone sent me a screenshot of active window and I could see about 20 extra pixels above the active window that was supposed to be sent.

I tried sending someone a screenshot of active window and got same results.

Then I tried doing a "send selected area" and when I tried to drag the selected area, the selection began about 20 pixels above the point I actually started from. Selection remained about 20 pixels above my cursor while I was dragging the mouse and it finished about 20 pixels above the point I stopped the selection.

I had one other major problem with "save selected area". When I chose this option through script menu, immediately I got the "Save as..." explorer window askingme to choose the location I want to save the screenshot. If I type a file name here, and click "save", nothing happens. The window closes and it doesn't give me a chance to make a selection that I want to save. There is no saved file of any kind either that I named in the "save as" window.

I'm using Vista 32bit.

I didn't find the anwser this forum by now, so I'll ask here:

I m runnning on a Vista- pc, messenger  "v8.5.1302.1018" en "msg plus v4.60.0.324" (prev version, same issu)

I've installed the script: "Screenshot Sender 4.1.01b"

The script works fine: no problms to take screenshots en send them to my contacts, each screenshot is saved onto the path: "C:\Users\Xxxxx\AppData\Roaming\Screenshot Sender\XXXXXXXXXXX@mail.com\"

But when I reboot my computer or close the messenger(complete closing), the screenshot-dir is empty! So al my saved screenshots dissappeared...

When I 'sign-out' and login again, without closing messenger. My screenshots are still there!

Is this a know issue or Bug?

What can i do about it?

still waiting for the issue mentioned by roflmao to be fixed, any news guys?

I am hoping to be able to make a release sometime this month I cannot guarantee this tho. I am extremely busy. I have 2 jobs and run 2 businesses so it is hard to get free time in my life.

If you open the Screenshot Sender preferences under the General tab there is an option to Delete session images uncheck that. I guess this would have been a bug if it only happens when you Close Windows Live Messenger but the reason that would have happened is because the script isn't uninitialized when you sign out it is still running therefore there wasn't an event fired when you were to sign out. I will make sure to take this into consideration for the next release.

This option is unchecked! So I guess it is a bug!

I'm confused, what is the lattest version? Isn't it v4.1.1? if not, where did I get it from then?



Also, wanted suggest add date format to the screenshot name teplate.
a quick and dirty way could be add date.js and inside FilenameQuickTexts function add:

After this little change you can add !yyyy for year, !MM for month or !yyyyMM for year and month, etc.

The title of the thread was just never updated. The current version is 4.1.1b but that was only available through the Plus! Installer (it never seemed to make its way to the update server or Script DB hence I guess has been lost. Which isn't a big problem.
