Just compare the Windows menus with the MPL menus, when I decreased Windows menu font size. Does MPL not use Windows menu font settings?! (both images inserted in original size)
You can see that the font, the borders, the selection color and border is different than the Windows ones. This is because they're painted manually. When Plus! paints, it doesn't care about the current font-size or any other default-values at all.
