Well basically, how can i record the sound outputting from my speakers and nothing else? so no backround noise.

Assuming Win XP, open volume control, and select properties from the Options menu. Switch to Recording properties, and click OK. That should now give you a list of all recording sources. To record only whats heard through your speakers, mute everything except for the option "Stereo Mix" if you have it. Depending on your sound card/chipset, it may be called something else or not be there at all.

The only thing thats there is my USB microphone and im on vista btw

i had a cool command line app called soundcapture.exe but i can't find it

Does your computer have a line in port? (it usually is a light blue port)
Doubt it, because if it did, it would show on Vista's recording devices...

I connect my speaker cable straight back in to line in... it's easy

it's not always that easy,
basicly i see your options being either a cable or software,
a cable going from your speaker jack into your mic jack or,
you use some software, audacity claim to do it but i have no idea when i was doing music production i got a copy of cakewalk sonar which does it nicely and anytihng from here will probally do it
