I'm new to Windows Messenger.  Trying to send and receive my first voice call...when I answer, I don't hear a voice, just the ringing.  Same for when I place a call.  I've checked the mic/headset levels, etc.   Any suggestions?  Thanks.

Is that with everyone, or just one contact? May be that the contacts mic. isn't working.

When they ring you and you answer, does the bar move where the volume slider is? It should go up when they talk. If it's not moving, then it's most likely a problem with their mic. or their computer, because it's not being sent to you.
