Hey guys,

I’m having a strange issue as of late, a couple of weeks ago I signed into messenger and received a new invite which I accepted then a couple of seconds later I received another 37 invites from people already in my contact list (some of whom were online at the time)…

I thought it was just a glitch in the system and accepted my contacts again but since then this has occurred another 6 or 7 times after I sign in, although I haven't received any new invites since the one mentioned above...
   
Is anyone else having this problem?

It’s not a major dilemma but its kinda annoying…

happened to me loads last year with people I blocked and deleted.

Try clearing (deleting) your contact cache's

they can be found in:

WinXP:
%userprofile%\contacts
%userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows Live Contacts

Vista:
%userprofile%\contacts
%localappdata%\Microsoft\Windows Live Contacts

Ok, thanks and I'll give that a go...

Sorry should have mentioned that I'm running XP and come to think of it, it does usually happen after I block and unblock a bunch of people...

Any chance you can help me with the I'm hungry part also???

This happens with me also but it's over 200 invites that I get!
