I have installed the newest version of messenger live! plus on my computer, together with Windows Live Messenger 8 (I have Windows XP).
I downloaded it from the homepage, and followed the instructions to install it, and I did install it. Now don't know how to satrt the program, and I can't find on my list of programs.

Can you please help me? 

Messenger plus! Live starts when you start messenger. You do not need to run it seperatly at all. After you have signed into messenger you should see the plus icon in the menu bar:

hold on, does plus 4.60 support WLM 8.0?#

try upgrading to WLM 8.5 to be on the safe side

@john-t: I've tríed to follow these steps, yet still the icons doesn't show up?

my WLM (which I now made sure is the most recent) looks like this:
(click on the attachment to see the pic)

Click the menu icon of msn, then select plus then Preferences. Then go to the tab Messenger and The select contact list. The first option must have a tick in order for the buttons to show.

@Basilis ... Ehm, when I go to the menu in MSN/WLM, it doesn't say anything about "plus"?

My menu looks like this:

(Files, contacts, action (send an onlinemessage, make a videocall etc.), function (perferences/adjustments, and help)

My WLM is in Danish... It might be easier for me to follow the instructions, if it was in English but I don't know how to change the language

Then you haven't installed Plus! Did you saw the configuration Wizard after you installed it?

@Basilis: No, I didn't.. It just said: "Installation going on.." and it was through with that, there was no further informaiton on the screen, it just quit...

Then, try re-installing it. And then, when Messenger signs in, you should see the Configuration Wizard
