Ok when i turn on my laptop i see the BIOS logo but then after that all i see is a black screen with a blinking _

I have windows vista in it so i booted from a vista disk and tryed the start-up repair. It didn't help & i can't boot windows.

I searching for windows not booting in google but i only got unrelated stuff..

Please help!

Do you know the key used to get into the BIOS? If so you can enter the BIOS and check to see if your HDD is still detected.

Sounds like HDD can't be read

And it is not Vista's fault.

The HDD can be read via the BIOS and when  i use the vista cd it detects its there & the windows installation.
