I tried to find out this on many website but all are talking about in terms of traffic and general perception??

My mate says that aswell and have yet to see him go meet up with anyone from Myspace (except some bitch that gave him glandular fever). I prefer the whole "Go out to real places and talk to real people" option.. I know it sounds lame

"social networking" is just a fancy word for "community". People with similar interests seek eachother, that's what humans do.... Humans (and many other animals) are social beings. They trive better in group than alone. It is part of that ancient prime feeling/instinct of security. You're safer in a group than alone....
Your own family is a "social network" also. Just as your school, your local community, church, city, heck even country, whatever....
