Hello all 

I just wanted to ask how come I can't change my msn nick.Well I changed my nick so I can see it but anyone else can. When I go to Personal settings, the tab where you r supposed to type the nick you want everyone else to see u like in his contanc list. The tab is just grey for me and i cant click it and its my e-mail there so everyone just see my e-mail instead of my nick: I think it could be because of I didnt confirmed the e-mail a year ago

How can I change it?

Well, since confirming your email address would fix the problem, the obvious solution would be to confirm your email.

And you can do this by requesting a new confirmation email.

1) login to http://account.live.com/
2) click on "confirm email" on top of the account overview page.
3) follow the instructions given in the email

Thank you that should do ...I clicked send the confirmation e-mail ....but i didnt recieve any e-mail

Like we said, before you can add a display name, you first need to reply to the confirmation mail which is send to the email address you signed up with.
This is also explained when you sign up, and a same comment that you need to confirm the mail is also shown in Windows Live Messenger.

This to prevent abuse and signing up with non-existing or fake email addresses.

No the activation is set in place to prevent people from registering third party emails that don't actually exist. You certainly can use other email addresses they just need to be valid and confirmed.

To use a different domain you have to actually have an email set up on it. You can't just make shit up =/

Seriously....I clcked 'send the confirmation e-mail' andit said ' the confirmation e-mai has been sent to bla bla bla@bla bla.cz but i keep checking my inbox and theres nothing there
