I  work at home , but sometimes , i need go to my company to finish my work.however,the data and  favorites software are all at home,sometimes i need to purchase  the same software  which i have  at home. What should i do?Hope someone help.

- Easiest: get yourself a good laptop and use that, nowadays laptops can be just as powerful as a desktop. You can sync certain stuff between your desktop and the laptop too if need be (if you wish to work on the same file/project on more than one computer).
- Remotely connect to the computer you need to use that you do not have physical access to at that time.

As for purchasing software, you will need to purchase at least a license to use the software on a specific computer. Many software companies offer licenses for more than one computer. No way arround that, unless you limit the amount of computers you use for the same to 1.

If the only thing you need to have access to anywhere are files/documents, you can use something like:
SkyDrive
Foldershare (beta)
Office Live Workspace (beta)
Live Mesh (tech preview, limited beta)

It depends on what software you're talking about and what you need to do with it. Can you give us specific examples of the programs you need to use?

Some software can be used off of a flash drive, most can't but it's worth looking into.

Another way,install portable platform on a USB drive,and then install your favorites software on the portable platform,carry the data and favorites software with you on the usb drive,the  platforms include prayaya v3, ceedo , u3 smart drive ,portableapps


What reasons do you need to be at the office, do you need to be working on a computer they have there, or do you just need to be in the office? If the computer is irrelevant you can use remote desktop software to access your home computer from a terminal at work. You could also consider switching entirely to a laptop that you could bring with you.

If the reason you come in is that you need to use features of the network there (access files, network printing, ect,...) you could use VPN to connect your home system to that network and access the features you need remotely.

The third option is that you could use remote desktop to log into your work computer from home. This way you can do all your work on it from home, and when you go into the office it's there.

Give us some more specific info about what you need to take with you, and why you need to go into the office. I'm sure we can come up with a solution for you.

Usually, I need adobe photoshop, adobe dreamweaver , hava found some portable editions,but when they work on USB drive , it seems slow.

Now , i am trying portable prayaya and portableapps, i do not like carry a laptop with me ,mebe take a usb drive is free to me, hope my laptop can be superseded by these Utilities.

Speaking from the position of someone who manages enterprise IT, this isn't a problem you should even think about as an employee.  This is a problem the company should solve for you, whether it means purchasing licenses or providing remote access to their systems. 

If you are a contractor providing a service and the company is your client rather than your employer, then I would suggest carrying a laptop.  You are not likely to have adequate upstream bandwidth at home to serve remote access to graphics intensive apps like Photoshop.

True, if he works for a company it is their concern, not his. I was under the impression OP owns the company (he says: my company) but works from home most of the time...
