I deleted the recycle bin icon   how can I bring it back on the desktop

Just when you try it, please post here if the deleted items you had in your bin were deleted or restored along with the icon.

right click on desktop > personalize > left side panel click "Change desktop icons" and select the recycle bin.


(you deleted the shortcut to the recycle bin, not the recycle bin itself)

sorry I didn't use the program

Basifilis' link was for XP, you needed to click another link in his link.

I followed your steps and I got the icon back on the desktop
