It was 7pm, I had been waiting in line for 1 hour with my friend. Patchou greeted me and started looking for other Plus!sies in line before going back (he didn't have to wait in line, wonder why).
We then proceeded to the movie theatre, we had a great selection of seats since we were amongst the firsts in line.
They then introduced the movie upfront (reminding us that Plus! was sponsoring it
and that we had to install the sponsor or leave the room
j/k).
The movie ran for about 2 hours, it was great and took me by surprise with its style. You would oftenly see a tense situation involving romance, then violence would kick in and everything would end in an humorous way, with a joke on top of all. Overall it was really interesting and different from what we're used to see in Hollywood movies (like we all agreed on afterwards).
After the movie, we gathered outside the theatre and went to a nearby
Scores. The food was great (thanks Patch!) and the epic battles of paper-ball projectiles between some tables (at the end we were constructing paper "bomb" dropper airplaines) were interesting, altough the waiters were looking at us with evil eyes!
We talked about many different topics Plus! related or not. (That's right, Patchou handed out the complete new feature list in Plus! versions for the next 10 years, ...nah we wish though!)
Just before midnight, many people left, almost all were working the next day and some even had to take a 3 hour bus to go back home
.
I hope I didn't forget any important part! I would, again, like to thank Patchou himself, Messenger Plus! Live and everybody else that attended the event, it was really cool to meet you (again for some of you). I hope this will become an habit, and if so, I'll see you again at Fantasia 09
