Is it possible to turn off the green light when online on msn messenger.U can turn off writting detection, change away to offline but the green lights shows u as still being offline.
This way u could appear to be offline but actually be online and talk to watch friends u wany without other talking to u.

You can do both of them

To appear offline, right click the messenger icon in the system tray > Status > Appear offline.

To type invisible check this out.
