O.P. Huh?  First post,hi folks,help needed......
Hi folks,
              How do i stop smilies coming up in place of letters when i write  a word?I guess i have clicked on something to enable them.....ie...when i write the letters "hi"a little bug creature comes up.Hope you understand what i mean.

In Messenger's main window (the contact list), press Alt+T and select "Options". In "Messages", uncheck "Show custom emoticons"
