I'm i right in saything that you can do things like this to offline contacts because it's a way to find out if there online or offline?

Maybe it should be a feature in 9.0 to allow you to do so if you have actually started to chat 2 way?

You could always downloaded selective talker and blocked everyone else except the person you wanted to call.
