Does anyone have a good program which would display something like a to-do list on the desktop?
Id prefer it not to be a widget or a sidebar, but just a single application whos only function is to act as a to-do list

Notepad, or in my case Wordpad with a RTF file. Doesn't integrate to desktop tho .

Yeah I just make a .txt and leave on desktop. It's easier than installing any aps.

hence why im not using notepad or something

I second Rainlendar.

Yeah rainlender is good, but if you have Vista just use the notes gadget on the sidebar

I have Vista, but the notes gadget is not quite a good alternative for Rainlendar. You can have three very short lines of text in it at once, which (for me anyway) defeats the purpose of a To do list.
