i've recently encountered a persistant glitch, where Plus! doesn't keep track of a user when they go offline, the desktop contact and the task bar both will continue to say online (for days even) while the contact list and chat window and the actual user(i've checked) are offline

online, idle away and busy seem to work fine

Windows XP Service Pack 3 (5.1.2600)
Windows Live Messenger 8.5.1018
Messenger Plus! Live 4.70.0.334
Skin: Phunk'n - Infusco 1.0.2

It works fine for me. The desktop contact has the offline icon and says offline when you hover on it if the user has signed out.

not for me, the person will go offline and the tab and the desktop contact will still say online even when i hover over it

The tabs thing is a known issue I believe. I remember seeing another post about it around here somewhere.

I know, I was just referring to the tabs part. It's a known issue and doesn't seem fixable from what I read in the other thread (linked).
