CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP?

I'VE INSTALLED Messenger Plus (TWICE) AND FOR SOME REASON I CAN'T SEE MY CONTACTS NAMES AND UPDATES IN COLOUR.

NOBODY ELSE I KNOW HAD THE SAME PROBLEM AND THEY SAID IT SHOULD JUST CHANGE STRAIGHT AWAY.

IS THERE A SETTING I NEED TO PUT ON?.........PLEASE HELP!!

Is Messenger Plus definitely loaded? 

Do you have the icon on the dashboard and the "Plus!" menu in your contact list and chat windows?

If not then read here as it is a common problem

Also please refrain from typing in block capitals as it is considered to be shouting and therefore rude

HI, I HAVE INSTALLED IT TWICE....AND ALL THE 'Messenger Plus' ICONS ARE THERE!!

Preferences>Customize>General>Use formatting attributes to color contact names in messenger

thanks but everything is ticked like everybody has told me!!

still can't see contacts names in colour or any private messages they leave in their name

Do the names actually have color tags? If not, they they won't obviously be colored.

i have this problem... i can see the tags, even in my own name
