Recently, while using messenger I have received various IMs from non-contact users with links to what I assume are sites which install viruses. My question is: is there already a virus on my computer allowing me to receive messages from these people without my adding of them to my contact list or is it a problem with the people on my contact list distributing information? How can I prevent these messages from continuing?
