O.P. re-installed

Hi,

I just re-installed my OS and everything but I'm not getting any sound out of speakers...it is plugged in and I tested it on another PC and it's working. The sound card is an Audigity sound card and it's not giving me any errors in the device manager...Any suggestions?

Download the latest drivers from the official website

Ensure that the sound is set to come out of the sound card (as the default could well be the on board sound)

for some reason the sound is coming out of the onboard and not the card i put in hmmm

geez, maybe sound is set to come from the onboard instead of the card you put in? maybe it's possible that people might have more than one sound card, and there's a configuration panel for choosing which one you want to use as default?

Translation for the less than rude people on the planet:

(At least for XP) go to control panel > sounds and audio devices.
Set your sound card to be the default on both the audio and voice tabs.
