Maybe Patchou makes an exception this time and adapts Plus! for this version, as this seems a "mayor" release and the Microsoft team doesn't [public] release many betas anyway... my guess is this will be the only one and be active until the final release.

I have the same problem with custom emoticons.. They don't appear when I'm typing, unless I type a few characters after them and then they randomly appear, but my contacts can see them fine :/

I think removing BRB as a status was pretty dumb to be honest.

Has anybody noticed how awfully quiet the new sounds are?
Or is it just me

Oh and The lack of the ability to change web cam settings whilst you are sending your cam to somebody.

Same. They're really nice new sounds but very hard to hear, I've had to mix my computer's volume so that WLM is on like 50% volume and everything else is on 10%.

Well he did it for the first time 9 came around I believe.

If it isnt too much trouble, he problably will.

I hope he does i actually like this version of wlm yet id rather use 8.5 with msg plus rather than this version without maybe with enough request patchou would consider it
