Its weird, some custom emotes do appear in convos and others don't. They just appear as a blank message. I've checked all my settings and everything is incheck, also reinstalled it.

Is there a solution? :x

Are you using version 8.5 or one of the new BETAs?

But I went to the msgplus site and downloaded the patch which is 4.7

To check which version of msn you have installed you will have to go into the contacts list window, then check the "Help" Menu and go to the last option "About Messenger" and it will show you the information about your version, then...  take an screenshot or just copy the info and let us know ^^

Hmm yep is 8.5 ... so your problem is not cause the beta version, did you just install the emoticons? are packages?

Oh, I can see my custom emotes just not other's. Too clear that up.

Maybe your friends have emoticons installed from programs like smiley central or other that will not show you the emoticon if you have not installed the same program, have you ask them? or you can't see their normal msn emoticons either?

I can see their normal emoticons just fine.
