When I run MsgPlus.exe or start Windows I get the following message:

In spanish: La libreria de anclaje de Messenger PLus esta corrupta o no se encuentra. Por favor reinstale el programa.

In spanglish: Messenger Plus hook library not found or corrupt. Please reinstall the program.

I am using Windows XP sp2 with various accounts...mine is a standard User account.  I'm running Messenger 7 BETA 7.0.0425 and MsgPlus latest 3.40 BETA version (2-Dec-2004)  I've tried reinstalling, but no good results obtained.  If anyone could help I'd appreciate it.  Thank you.

You have to re-install Plus from the account you originally installed it, and better if it's an account with admin rights.

Spanish: Tienes que reinstalar el Plus desde la cuenta con la que lo instalaste originalmente. Y si es una cuenta con derechos de administrador, mejor que mejor.

btw, for other people: The exact english message is ([Launcher] > BadHook):
The Messenger Plus! hook DLL file is missing or corrupted. Please re-install the software.

I'm having this problem also, and I already tried to many times reinstalling the application, but still getting the same error message.

I also uninstalled Messenger application, reinstalled, but still the same error.

What else could I do?

make sure you erase all the files left behind from messenger plus after its uninstalled to insure a complete reinstall

the same problem? Note that nachotilla's problem was in 2004, 4 years ago. Tell us, please, which version of Messenger Plus are you trying to install? And what is the exact error you get?
