Hello Patchou,

I started using Windows 7 today, and it works great, but unfortunately it does not recognise Windows 7 with the (!VER) tag, otherwise, thus far i have found no other problems I understand it is a beta, so please no one post telling me about this and all the other reasons, was just letting Patchou know that it does definately work

If you have the latest Messenger Plus! beta (4.79.342) then it should recognize Windows 7

@ eddie, heres you chance ask for a cpoy of the beta so you can report back if it does what it should

Windows Vista Ultimate (6.1.6801)
Windows Live Messenger 14.0.0908
Messenger Plus! Live 4.79.0.342

Well, then it's a bug, because the changelog says:

* Windows 7 is now properly reported by (!VER). Messenger Plus! is currently reported to work on this OS.

Yeah i know, which is why i posted this to let Patchou know, but i just realised i posted it in the wrong area.

I always assumed Windows 7 would, by definition, be internally identified version 7.0. My mistake, will be fixed in the next build (strange though).

Also, Patchou, check the corresponding thread in the beta forum too
