O.P. Can't install messenger with WLInstaller
This is pissing me off..

Just then i did a fresh install of XP and first thing i did was try to install windows live messenger

I add the sign in assistant and the messenger into the install and i get

"Sorry, we couldn't install these programs"

What's the deal here? I could install before how come i can't now??


Also... what is the newest version of Windows Live Messenger? (not beta)

Latest version of WLM is 8.5.1302.1018. If the main installer doesn't work, you can try this link:

Do you have any idea why the main installer doesn't work?
