I'm trying to send a sound using the "Emotion sounds" button. No matter what sounds i choose (might be one of the sounds included with the software, or a newer sound downloaded from the library), I always get an error saying:

"An error occurred while contacting the server, please try again later. If the problem persists, check your security settings"

I have checked the security settings and everything seems to be in place there. Also, I'm not behind a firewall or have any other blocking software that might be affecting this.

I checked the forum trying to find related issues, but the ones I found had to do with recorded sounds.

The version of my MSN is 8.1 (8.1.0178.00).

Try upgrading to Messenger 8.5 and to the latest version of Messenger Plus! Live and see if this helps
