O.P. Undecided  Messenger Plus! live block
ok i have vista and i am using WLM beta 2009 and i am trying to download Messenger Plus! live for it and it goes thou fine but when i go in to the add and remove programs it is blocked .... is there any way i ccan unblock it .... Please if someone can help it would be great

if your talking about the little circle with the cross in the picture, that has nothing to do with it. You should be able to click on the program and choose "change/remove" next to the options "Views" and "Organise"

1) What Firewall are you using? (E.g ZoneAlarm)

2) Any other addons such as sweetim, smiley central, stuffplug, etc installed?

the only firealarm i am using is the one that came with windows i think windows defender  and i dont have any thing else installed on to msn

OK if you go to "C:\Program Files\Windows Live\Messenger" do you see a file called "msimg32.dll" is present there.

hmmmm....Check to see, if you use and anti-virus program, disab;e it and check it it works

ok well i tryed and disabled all the anti virus and malwear and any thing else that could block it and its still blocked so i am not sure

Do you have Messenger Discovery Live installed?

Also you never answered the question about SweetIM and Smiley Central

Try checking your add-remove programs for those two things as they are known to prevent Messenger Plus Live from functioning correctly.
