O.P. Microsoft Office 2007 - Program from 2003
I am soon going to upgrade to Office 2007 but there is a program from 2003, Picture Manager, that I need and is not included in the 2007 pack. I don't know if there is a version of it for 2007 so I am asking. Is it possible to upgrade to 2007 but still use that specific program? Will it be uninstalled with the installation of 2007 and if so, can I download its 2003 version and install it on its own? Please help guys.

You can use Office 2003 and Office 2007 side by side. Therefore you don't have to worry about that :).

On a side note, people bitch about Office 2007's interface. Give it some time and you'll realize that things are much more intuitive in 2007. Just don't freak out if you can't find something, they did an amazing job with "Help", use it.

Thanks for the quick reply. Can I uninstall in some way the programs that exist in 2007 and keep only Picture Manager? For disk space mostly.

Actually, Office 2007 comes with picture manager, just checked. You just have to make sure that while you are installing, you go into "Customize" and choose to "Run All on Computer" or something like that for the picture manager option. It should be listed under "Office Tools".

So, if I find it and install the Office 2007 succesfully, I can then uninstall 2003 to save space? There will be no problem right? Thanks again for the help.

Yep. Do you know your product code for office 2003? Make sure you do, that way, if something goes wrong, you can always revert back.

I found that option you told me about.
But, which is the best to choose from the 3 options in the Installer window. It lets me keep my previous office version, uninstall it completely or uninstall some of its programs. I will probably keep my previous one to be sure and then I will uninstall it if everything goes well, but it tells me to disable Outlook 2003 and I don't know how to do that. It can be done right?
