at some point last night while i was online and logged into to both hotmail and messenger all my contacts suddenly disappeared??  can anyone give me an insight into what has happened???

Can you log into webmessenger and tell me if your contacts appear there http://webmessenger.msn.com/

Have you used any sites you normally would not use in the last few days?
Sites that ask for you messenger username and  password?

i logged onto webmessenger as requested but the only contacts that appeared were the ones i have managed to migrate accross from my allowed list on windows live messenger.

on the same evening i tried to get the setting so set up my hotmail account on outlook and registered with izymail where i had to sign in with my hotmail user name and password.  it did occur to me later that this may have something to do with it.
