Hey,

I'm revamping my little midi moto, and I think I'm going to need help. But I'm requesting help from someone who knows what they're talking about.
I'm literally building it from scratch, and buying all new parts etc, so I'm going to need help, on what will work/fit etc.

SIk, I checked on howstuffworks, and there's nothing on there to do with 49c midi motos.

Basically one of my main questions are, will the mini moto engine parts fit the midi moto engines?

Okay I need some help.
How on earth do you get the throttle cable through it? One end has huge piece of mettle on it so it won't go through, and the other end goes through but not over the black protective layer, so you can't push it down to the other end .

didn't you look when you dissassembled it?
take more and clearer pix plz.

Doesn't matter, Apparently the people that sent me the throttle cable are meant to send me that bit pre put onto the cable. Apparently the only way to get it on is to cut the end bit off and weld it back on.

I really wouldnt weld it back on, i could never get it to work.

I found the best way, is to cut the cable (at the end with the metal bit), and crimp a power fitting (spade connector), so that its just the crimp bit on the cable.

Crimp, crimp, crimp away, until its rock solid. Heat with blowtorch, and apply solder.

Then just file it so that it fits into the throttle mechanism?

And yer right, howstuffworks sucks..

Ill help, if you need. Im surprisingly doing a similar project, only its with a foldaway pushbike, and an engine from a boat.
