if it came with the pc, try checking the manufacture of the computer website

could try a simple add hardware, see if windows will install the hardware its self, but i doubt it, if you're saying it doesn't appear in device manager

remove it from dev manager and restart? perhaps windows has the required driver

infact bios should tell you what make it is, well at least give the model.

restart your pc, start bios, take down the details, search google

Ok after a look through the bios i decided to take a look inside of my case, and it appeared that the power cord was not completely plugged in, i'm not sure exactly why this was the case but it now works properly, thanks guys

well moving it can make it loose
