What do you mean by "hiding", Do you mean on the contact list? or while chatting?

I get it xD i have contacts with pms like that but idk if chrono is right about it's a bug or they actually do something to hide the pms, once i asked to a friend and he said something really stupid like "i put a - before the pm, then it went hide" xD guess was a lie...

Did you took a look on google? maybe there you can find anything

And for those who still don't get it, he means something like this:

1) Contact info (visible): Nickname - (no pm)
2) Contact info (according to msg plus!) - just an example: Nickname - Private Message

Also happens that when you chat with that person you see the pm, to me it happend in wlm 8.5 with some contacts (totally random) and with 9 RC is just that you only can read the pm on the contact's list when you place the pointer over it, not the same.
