O.P. show what u last said
In msn there is an option next to message archiving which enables you to display the most recent messages when you open up a new contact window the next day, as a recap o f what you was talking about.
I have installed 3 addons for msn and one of them seems to have disabled this feature.. does a nyone know if stuff plug 3 does this?

Windows Live has this function built in by default. From the menu bar, Tools > Options > Messages tab > check the options for "Keep a history of my conversations" and "show my last conversation"
Remember, enabling this option will keep a log file of everything you write and receive in all chats

It works fine. I'm using it now.

You have to close your conversations then re-open them.

it will only work with conversations that you've had since turning the option on.....not with ones you've had already

You guys, he's saying he had the option enabled, then installed some Add-ons and it stopped working.

Pontypool: Uninstall them one by one to see which is conflicting.

While we're on this subject, is it possible to add this functionality to MP!L? I don't like relying on the built-in logger for this, because then I'd have two sets of chatlogs (one set encrypted, then defeating the purpose of having encrypted logs enabled in the first place).

I know what you mean, but I doubt Patchou will add a feature that already exists in Messenger.

why not? if you use the message archiving of this addon thats probably what disables  msns and the show last message  option along with it. If the addon impliments a new archiving feature it would also need to adopt the said feature too.
