Hi there, this has been my first day skinning the new messsenger and everythig was going OK while updating SilverGlazz except for one thing.

As you can see in the screens there is an space on top of the window,
and the background doesn´t fit to the shape, I think that the menu bar occupies that space, in the older messenger versions the menu bar showed up on the border of the shape but now it has a conflict with the shape itself, I guess this can happen with every shaped skin from what i see, do you guys have a solution or any idea on how to fix that?

and how would this be applyed in vista PCs? a whole in the AERO bar?

uh...you turn off Aero?...he is on Vista

Disables Aero for WLM ^ (mynetx uses it for his program)

Shaped Skins automatically disable aero So that's a no....deal with it (Part of MP!L)

It's only an idea...what happens if you disable windowbar in def file?

This happens because Messenger is no longer a child window, its its own window now so it works like other windows where the file menu will appear directly below the min max close controls. There isn't really anything you can do.

Though now that I think about it, it might be a good idea to get Patchou to reset the menu bar being turned on. That way at least when they apply the skin it won't look weird.

Thanks for your answer willz, now I understand, so I hope Patchou can fix this because i can´t do anymore in my skin for now, could it be included in the next release of messenger Plus! or it will take much more time than that?
