[font=Times New Roman][size=2][color=purple] Hello everyone i have a problem, i am now using windows live messenger 2009 and i downloaded messenger plus that is compatible with it but the problem is that the event logging is not working at all it doesnt record when did a certain person signed in or signed out and also no popup appears when the person i am chatting with signs out (event notifications). i checked all the settings and still not working so plzz if u have a solution help me ASAP

Sorry to hear you're having a problem with the Event Viewer.

I'll try and help you find out why it's not working.

If you go to Plus! > Preferences & Options > Messenger > Event Logging, Under Event Viewer, click 'Filter by contacts...', check to make sure all your contacts are ticked.

Could you confirm your Windows Live Messenger and Messenger Plus! Live versions? Just to make sure.

That's all I can think of at the moment.

Edit: If you can confirm that in Preferences & Options > Customize! > Events Notifications, the 'Signed out - chatting with' is enabled, then I'm not too sure why notifications aren't working.

i checked everything and it is marked, i dunno why it is not working i uninstalled it and reinstalled the plus again and still the same problem i dunno why

windows live messenger 2009 and Messenger plus live 4.79 BETA

Do you have the following versions..?

WLM 2009 (Build 14.0.8050.1202)
Check by going to Help > About Messenger
Msg Plus! Live 4.79.0.354
Check by going to Plus! > About Messenger Plus!

It's important to be specific. If you have a slightly different version, then it could be causing the problems.

the messenger plus is 4.79.0.353 (BETA) but the windows live messenger is the same
so what shall i do now??

4.79.0.353 is the latest public beta, 354 is private

so is there a link 2 download it ?????
