You should just be able to uninstall Messenger by Add/Remove Programs (Programs & Features on Vista)

It will be called 'Windows Live Essentials"

There. http://irc.msgplus.net/~jkay/ZapMessenger.zip It doesnt remove A-patch though so make sure you uninstall it yourself.

i can't uninstall a-patch so im not sure how to uninstall it, there's no button in control panel

i've zapped messenger and reinstalled but i couldn't uninstall apatch and now it's still not fixed since the patch uninstalls itself when you uninstall messenger, i use vista x86 btw

Have you re-installed Messenger Plus?

Can you post a screenshot of a conversation with the bug happening in which you've sent (!VER) so that we can check your versions of everything?

i've reinstalled plus and wlm so i don't know what's the problem

uh your tabs dont appear to be hidden....

The tabs are visible in that screenshot though...you aren't showing the menubar

And you haven't sent (!VER) in the conversation so we can check your versions

(Can't it be a problem with transparency??)
