I've already installed Messenger Plus! Live, and I've signed in msn but whenever I try to install a script, a popout saying "Messenger and Messenger Plus! must be running before you can import new scripts." always appears. What do I do?

Exit Windows Live Messenger and re-sign in. If that doesnt work, re-install Plus! and see if it works.

Does Messenger Plus! Live function correctly?

Do you see colours in names and everything?

Most importantly, there must be a Big Plus Icon beside your personal message.

No, none of that.

Your Messenger Plus! Live isn't functioning properly, most likely due to interference from another program.

Do you have either SweetIM, SmileyCentral, ThreatFire or Kiwee installed?

These are all known to be incompatible with Messenger Plus! Live and can cause the problems you are describing.

Once you have removed the incompatible program you can install scripts properly
