Hi to everybody, I'm trying to modify the Plus! shortcut to lock messenger, but I cannot. the box looks not enabled. When I was using xp no problem, now I have vista, can be the problem?

RE: Lock messenger shortcut
At first you have to check the box right above that box which looks like disabled.

"Activate Messenger Lock with a system-wide shortcut", tick this option, then define a shortcut in the box below it.

It's a known bug on Win7. (You can change your Messenger's compatibility to Vista to make it work)

I know how to get it to work again ^^. (finally! i missed the function :P)

Close your msn and go to properties of the messenger exe  -> compability
-> enable the 'run this program in......' and click for vista.

apply this all.. and messenger is back to the place where it used to be in vista = system tray

The windows 7 functions will still work (for me they do ^^) but messenger is back in the system tray....

and you can lock messenger again as in windows vista ^^.

(just found this out for myself a few minutes ago.. so i'm not sure if any features will be gone).

Enjoy! (H)
