When I locked my MSN earlier today, I realised, that while watching a movie, that you can still hear contacts signing in, messaging you, nudging etc.

Is it just my MSN or is anyone else having this problem also?

I THINK, if you have set the lock to turn your status into busy, then you can configure your Plus! settings to not make any sound.

Go to Plus! Menu>General>Sounds>General Sound Options, uncheck "Play Sounds when Busy"

Hey does anyone have any idea how to make the lock messenger feature work with WLM 9 used in Windows 7 Beta? it works fine in vista and xp but wlm9 in windows 7 no longer has the icon by the clock so i'm stuck with using wlm 8 to keep the locking feature.

anyone have any ideas?

Close your msn and go to properties of the messenger exe  -> compability
-> enable the 'run this program in......' and click for vista.

apply this all.. and messenger is back to the place where it used to be in vista = system tray

The windows 7 functions will still work (for me they do ^^) but messenger is back in the system tray....

and you can lock messenger again as in windows vista ^^.

(just found this out for myself a few minutes ago.. so i'm not sure if any features will be gone).
