Whenever i try to sign into msn, it says ..

we can't sign you into Windows Live Messenger
signing into windows live messenger failed because the service is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later.

- then i click 'show details' and it says -

code error: 8e5e0158


.. the thing is, when i try to sign into my account on meebo, it signs me in no problem.

and when i sign in on windows live messenger using a different e-mail, it signs me in no problem.

just my specific e-mail wont work on this computer on windows live messenger.

how do i fix this?

1. Open up hidden folder

C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows Live Contacts

2. delete anything inside.

3. restart live messenger.

i have the same problem but im on vista and vista doesnt have those folders

ive deleted the hidden folders. this hasnt work. if anyone has any other ideas how to fix this error plz tell me im on a windows XP computer.
