Hi all,

As everyone would aware, the Messenger Plus! Forums have been down the past few days. Unfortunately they were down for a lot long than we'd hoped.

We've been having some problems with the server in its current state, as it has been overheating - which, we think is due to the direct result of a loose/broken CPU heatsink clip. Unfortunately technicians at the data center have only been able to physically access the machine in the past 24 hours to investigate.

The forums are currently running on the old server, and it's looking rather stable at the moment. We've taken fresh backups of all of the data, just in case they go down again.

We're looking to migrate to newer equipment for the forums later this week so we expect there will be a few more hours of downtime, but I'll post another message when we have a time scheduled.

Apologies for the downtime, but hopefully things are back to normal now.

Yay. Will the new server be faster too? Maybe it will get rid of server capacity messages for good .
