Old Chat Logs gone after installing Messenger Plus Live.

O.P. Old Chat Logs gone after installing Messenger Plus Live.
After installing Messenger Plus, all my previous chat logs are gone, is this supposed to happen?
The folder in which they go in, under "My Received Files" is empty, this is where they were kept previously.
